Prince William County Republican Convention (Part 1)
The following resolution was passed almost unanimously, with only two dissenting votes, at the Prince William County Republican Convention held in Manassas, VA on 14 March 2009. Resolution (1) March 14, 2009 RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE RIGHT TO LIFE UNDER THE U.S. CONSTITUTION Whereas, the Republican Party of Virginia believes that all human life must be respected and safeguarded from conception to natural death. Whereas, the members of the Prince William County Republican Convention agree, that upon conception a human being has been created and that an unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life as a human being Now, therefore, be it resolved, that as members of the Prince William County Republican Convention: 1. We support a human life amendment to the U.S. Constitution 2. We endorse legislation making clear that the Fourteenth Amendment's protections apply to all persons from conception until death. 3.
